It’s A Celebration – Mardi Gras Parade

Good morning beautiful people.

In case you’ve been living under a rock or if you’ve never been to Sydney before, the Mardi Gras Parade is this Saturday evening

One of the biggest parties of the year, it’s a fantastic celebration of everything there is to celebrate about our LGBTI+ community.

The Parade runs from 7:30pm til 11:30pm, starting at Hyde Park, making its way up Oxford Street to finish on Flinders Street.

Last year crowd numbers were up around half a million people, with greater crowds predicted for this year.

Now I am no psychic nor epidemiologist, but this increase in foot traffic could mean a very busy night for our friends in the venues around Surry Hills, Darlinghurst and the city.

To our mates at these venues, make sure you’re stocked up for the increased demand. Whether this may be extra disposable plastic cups, all your toilet paper and napkin stocks or just making sure your rocks glass collection is up to scratch, ordering it next Monday won’t help you on Saturday.

And to all our friends of all persuasions, have a fantastic Mardi Gras.
